PARSIPPANY, N.J. - June 4, 2007 - PNY Technologies®, Inc. today introduced
its new solid state drive (SSD) lineup, on pace to replace traditional hard disk
drives (HDD) currently used in all notebook and desktop PCs. Configured with
NAND flash chips, PNY's SSDs are a drop-in replacement that greatly improves
system performance, enhances ruggedness, and uses less energy in all notebooks
and mobile electronics devices that allow for a traditional 2.5" or 1.8" hard

as well as capacities up to 128GB for its 2.5" version and 64GB for its 1.8"
"Solid state drive technology expertise will become increasingly important in
the coming years as prices become more affordable and understanding of
nonvolatile memory becomes more widespread in computing environments," said
Joseph Unsworth, principal research analyst with Gartner. "Enhanced
performance and greater durability will be among the most important attributes
attractive to a variety of enterprise and consumer vertical markets."
