SSE2 Technology
Like it's predecessor SSE, SSE2 adds yet another 144 new instructions into a processor of every Pentium 4 CPU. SSE2 is the key to a P4’s performance since Intel has decided against a powerful FPU, rather relying on software developers to write their programs to use SSE2. Like SSE, SSE2 is can be used with the latest applications.
