The front bezel is full of buttons, and the two speakers flank them on either side, rather than being housed in the rear. The side bezels are about 1" wide, which is quite thin compared to most displays, but still enough room to protect the panel from scratching when adjustments are made.

Apart from the utterly thin 1" panel that the CML153 has, its two strongest features revolve around sound. They are the integrated mini-speakers and more importantly from our perspective, the integrated headphone jack and volume wheel.

With the aid of an audio jumper cable that connects to the rear of the computer, and to the display just under the power port, you can be free to listen to music through the small, and somewhat tinny sounding speakers, or through a pair of headphones. The audio quality is very good, and we detected no humming or other annoying interference affecting the sound quality.

The CML153XW has about 5 degrees of forward tilt, and no more than about 20 degrees of rear tilt, making it good only for people sitting at a desk. We have seen some other LCD displays that would tilt as much as 40 degrees back, making them ideal for POS or other standing applications, but given the limited viewing angles of the CML153XW, that wouldn't be recommended. There is no rotating swivel in the base of the unit, but since it is fairly light, it is not difficult to move around, left or right.

The CML153XW tilts a small degree forward, and about 20 degrees back if necessary.

As you can imagine, since this display is capable of wall mounting it uses a removeable base. Also, the power pack sits a distance from the display meaning the overall weight of the unit is less, and this hints at why the unit is so thin. The monitor connects to the AC-Adaptor by a low voltage lead, and the AC Adaptor to the wall by a standard computer power cable about six foot in length.
